An Update on Work

I’ve always been someone who is my own worst enemy when it comes to looking for jobs and interviewing. Constantly down on myself, questioning my abilities, and not utilizing networking properly.

It’s been a journey but for once all that work paid off and I’ve accepted a new position! The family will be moving from Austin to Dallas area now in the coming weeks and months. Crazy journey, but new adventures lie ahead!

The Justified sequel is very fun so far. Timothy Olyphant is just a treasure.

Just learned that Kevin Mitnick passed. RIP to a legendary pioneer of computer technology.

This heatwave in Austin is getting to me this year, despite last year’s beginning in May and lasting all summer.

Finished reading 📚: Waking Up: A Guide to Spirituality Without Religion by Sam Harris

I disliked the majority of this. But, by the end, some of Sam’s points come into focus. This is a challenging book to read, and one I do not recommend unless you have a great interest in the mind and science.

Putting more hours into Tears of the Kingdom this weekend. Fantastic game. I’m probably ~75% through the main story now and loving it.
